Activation cancellations and balance refunds

How cancellation works for a virtual number activation, when funds return to the SMSREC balance and what information support needs.

Respuesta rápida: SMSREC reserves the displayed activation price before requesting a number upstream. Eligible failed or cancelled activations are credited back to the internal balance.

Paso a paso

Open the activationFind the waiting number in your dashboard or retrieve it with the API.

Check its statusDo not cancel after a useful SMS code has already been delivered.

Request cancellationUse the cancel button or the API cancellation endpoint while the activation permits it.

Confirm the balance entryAfter a successful cancellation, the activation status and balance transaction are updated.

Notas importantes

Refunds are returned to the SMSREC balance, not automatically to the original card or wallet.
Keep the activation ID for support.
